Thank you for your interest in sanctioning your event with Elite Professional Bullriders. Below are two links to a sanction application, including applicable terms and conditions. There are a couple of terms that I would like to highlight in this letter. The terms and conditions are attached to the application. Please read the terms, sign where required, and
mail all pages to the EPB office. Events will not be approved unless the sanction terms are read and signed. Thank you!
Application Fee: The only fee associated with your sanction is $150.00 for those events with added money ranging from $2,000 to $4,999 or $200.00 for events with added money of $5,000 or more. (Note- you must have a minimum of $2,000 added).
Listings: The EPB will gladly list your event on our publications page in Cowboy’s Digest and The Competitor News at no additional cost to you. However, no event will be listed as an approved event until a completed sanction form and appropriate fee is submitted to the EPB office.
Personnel: All judges, bullfighters, barrelmen or funnymen, announcers, stock contractors and photographers hired to work your event must be EPB members in good standing. Any request to use a non-EPB member for these positions must be listed in the “Variance” section of the sanction application and then approved by the EPB.
Riders: All riders that enter your event must be EPB members in good standing. Any request to have non-EPB riders participate must be listed in the “Variance” section of the sanction application and then approved by the EPB. Unless otherwise agreed, it is the responsibility of the EPB to check the eligibility of all riders during the central entries process.
Event Responsibility: The EPB is not responsible any area associated with production of an event, including the hiring of personnel, arena rental, ticket sales, general laborers, security, ambulance, stock contractors, etc. and will not be considered an active participant in event production. However, the EPB will gladly give producers the contact information of EPB personnel if requested by the committee.
Fiscal Responsibility: The EPB is not responsible for payment of event related personnel or other charges INCLUDING ADDED MONEY. Failure to payout 100% of published added money, minus the 5% payoff deduction, will result in committee ineligibility for future events. Any changes in the amount of added money must be reported to the EPB office before entries open, and will result in a request to post the new amount near the secretary’s office during the event.
Central Entries: The EPB is responsible for taking entries for all EPB sanctioned events unless a variance is agreed upon between the producer and EPB office. Entry fees must include a $5.00 charge per rider to be paid to the EPB office upon the conclusion of the event. Central entries for each EPB event will open the second Monday before the event (unless otherwise informed by the EPB Central Entries office). ALL SANCTION FORMS MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL, INCLUDING THE ADDED MONEY AND RIDER FEES, AND SUBMITTED TO THE EPB OFFICE BEFORE ENTRIES WILL BE TAKEN.
If you have any further questions while filling out the application, please feel free to contact the EPB office at 406-672-0029 or email secretary@eliteprobullriders.com
